SLO Public Market is proud to introduce our newest addition — NEXUS: Ballroom Dance Community. NEXUS is a community destination designed for beginners, long-time dancers, and everyone in between. It will offer both private lessons and group classes as well as community socials open to everyone.

Long-time dancer Alicia Aragon has opened NEXUS with the intention of creating a space to foster community through dance. Whether there for connection, fitness, or fun, SLO residents will find a new community hotspot at NEXUS.

With 15 years of experience in partnership dancing and teaching, Alicia understands the importance of dance as an art form to connect the community. “I want NEXUS to be a home, a place for people to connect authentically and reap the benefits dance has to offer,” she says. “These include physical and mental health, reconnecting with yourself and others, regaining confidence, and, most importantly, having fun.”
