We are pleased to announce the Market Hall’s first tenant: Central Coast Creamery. CCC will bring their award-winning artisan cheese and a new gourmet grilled cheese sandwich menu!
CCC is the first to join the Market Hall, which is one of 8 buildings on the SLO Public Market’s campus. The Market Hall will feature approximately 20 merchants, including a variety of grab-and-go or sit-and-stay dining options, as well as boutique retail shops and other unique offerings.
Based in Paso Robles, Reggie and his team focus on making small, handcrafted batches of cheese using milk that is sourced from local diaries and is free of artificial hormones. CCC ages their cheese on traditional wooden planks. At any given time, there are between 3,000 and 4,000 wheels of cheese that must be hand turned, two times a week.
CCC’s Seascape, made from a blend of cow and goat milk, recently won Best of Class at the 2021 World Cheese Championship for the second time. During your visit, be sure to peruse Reggie’s other cheeses including Holey Cow, Bishops Peak, Goat Gouda, Big Rock Blue, Dream Weaver and Ewenique.
Also, stay tuned for a few new exciting cheeses that are in development, including a sheep milk cheddar and a sheep milk brie.
