What started as a quarantine hobby became a delicious pop-up that has rocked the greater San Luis Obispo Area. Sequel Tea is committed to quality, from the tea leaves to the brewing techniques to the boba recipe. Sequel Tea will join SLO Public Market as a permanent vendor in Fall 2023.

Sequel believes cold brew tea is the balance boba tea was made for. Sequel spearheads as California's first Cold Brew Boba Tea shop. For cold brew tea, Sequel does a hybrid of hot and cold infusion at specific temperatures. Steeping the tea to disinfect it, and overnight, leaving it at a specific temperature for 12 to 24 hours. Only using fresh ingredients, real organic milks, and no artificial sweeteners or syrups, Sequel is committed to bringing the best tea to its guests.

Owner and Founder, Justin Chan, spent months perfecting his process for the best boba brew. Justin wanted to not only highlight his cold brew boba tea but also to provide a place for people to come together.
