The San Luis Obis­po Pub­lic Mar­ket is cur­rent­ly seek­ing Cen­tral Coast busi­ness­es to join our grow­ing cam­pus. Mar­ket mem­bers will ben­e­fit from our com­mu­ni­ty gath­er­ing space, as well as reg­u­lar mar­ket­ing and events. 

Mar­ket­ing & Events

Ten­ants of the SLO Pub­lic Mar­ket will have both direct and indi­rect access to all mar­ket­ing relat­ed efforts con­duct­ed by our man­age­ment team. Ten­ants will be fea­tured on the SLO Pub­lic Market’s web­site, social media chan­nels and oth­er adver­tis­ing cam­paigns. All forms of pro­mo­tion that endorse the SLO Pub­lic Mar­ket will, by asso­ci­a­tion, have a direct ben­e­fit to tenants. 

A Com­mu­ni­ty & Culi­nary Cen­ter

The SLO Pub­lic Mar­ket is designed to be a gath­er­ing space where the com­mu­ni­ty can expe­ri­ence the best arti­sans from the Cen­tral Coast. With this in mind, the SLO Pub­lic Mar­ket plans to offer a vari­ety of events each month to pro­mote com­mu­ni­ty gath­er­ing and fea­ture dif­fer­ent mar­ket ten­ants. These events will range from cook­ing class­es and demon­stra­tions to live music per­for­mances, local’s night, or wine and craft beer tastings. 

Excep­tion­al Loca­tion

The SLO Pub­lic Mar­ket is cen­tral­ly locat­ed in San Luis Obispo’s busi­ness dis­trict on the cor­ner of South Higuera Street and Tank Farm Road, mak­ing it an ide­al stop­ping point for employ­ees of sur­round­ing busi­ness­es. With­in one mile of the site is the Ser­ra Mead­ows neigh­bor­hood with 177 new homes, as well as more than 700 planned homes at Avi­la Ranch. Oth­er loca­tion ben­e­fits include prox­im­i­ty to major employ­ers such as Mind­Body, Roset­ta, Shopa­tron and PG&E. In addi­tion, the site is at the gate­way to the pop­u­lar Edna Val­ley Wine Coun­try and the future Octa­gon Barn Trail­head Cen­ter for the Bob Jones Trail. The com­ple­tion of the LOVR inter­change on Hwy 101 will make this area the south­ern entry­way to SLO for locals, com­muters and tourists.
